Backendconfig and Frontendconfig CRD informers break with protobuf

CRD watch fails with clientset that overrides
ContentType = "application/vnd.kubernetes.protobuf"(Ref: kubernetes/kubernetes#55541)

This affects ingress v1.6 and above (introduced by #847)
