Battery "charge" icon arrow wrong direct

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When the home battery is set to "Charge - case 3". An arrow appears in the display. This arrow is pointing up. This suggest "out". While charge is current "in".

The solution would be to change the direct of the arrow to "down".

This icons means "grid charge" is active. In this mode the battery is filled with energy from the grid and will not be discharged. There is also a version with a pause sign (⏸︎) that's shown when battery is locked.

In normal operation the icon only indicates it's fill level, not charging direction.

But if it’s being filled, the energy is flowing in, right? So then the arrow should point inwards.

The mental model here is that the charge level (that's what we visuals inside in normal operation) rises at max speed.

Thanks for explaining. I never considered that mental model. How about putting in a lightning bolt in stead of arrow? That would make it more intuitive and is a common icon for a charging battery.

Like the idea, but we already use "lighting inside battery" for our battery boost feature. see #27392. Metaphor there is: "battery energy is used for charging". We use ⚡ to indicate charging at loadpoint.

I don't want to create confusion between those two features.

I've just tried to re-use the "power mast" icon, but this does not really work as well.
